English Language Teaching Institute Bhopal

  English Language Teaching Institute is a state level teacher training institute under SCERT, Rajya Shiksha Kendra Bhopal. The Institute was established in 1964; mainly with a view to impart training to elementary, secondary and higher secondary school teachers of English and preparing instructional materials for teaching English. Miss Charlotte Reid, the founder Director, was the guiding spirit in accelerating and gearing up its activities and thus bringing it to the present shape. Aims and Objectives of the Institute • To conduct in-service training programmes for teachers of English at the Primary, Middle, High School & Higher Secondary Schools in M.P. To organise short term, orientation and long term in -service programmes.
